Finding Hope after Recurrent Miscarriages Hi, I am Balot. I have recently launched a book titled Lost but Found and I would love to share it with you. 🌷💚 In 2013, I lost my second pregnancy. Our anniversary baby. It was devastating. Women do not talk about miscarriage a lot but I found out that it is so common. They say that 1 out of 4 pregnancies end up in a miscarriage. That is a really depressing number and yet we suffer in silence because we are scared to be judged, ridiculed, and so on. More than that, it is the guilt that eats us up the most. In my case, going through those miscarriages have put me in a really dark place for some time. It almost cost me my marriage, my career, my life -- EVERYTHING! I later found out the cause of my miscarriages: I had APAS and two other repro-immune disorders. This meant that my body was rejecting my babies. It was hard for me to accept that I was the one terminating my pregnancies. My journey to my rainbow babies, Santi and Lucia, has been long and full of challenges but I have been blessed by God's faithfulness. This book is testament to His promise. If you know a friend, a sister, a colleague (or it could be you) who is going through a rough patch right now, I hope that this book can give them a glimmer of hope. To make them feel that somebody understands even a little bit of what they are going through. I hope that this book gives them the courage to soldier on.
