The program was recently launched in the Philippines and with Shopee as its exclusive partner, business owners and content creators are able to connect and drive sales effectively by leveraging the growing video commerce platform. When products are tagged within YouTube content, viewers can easily view these products and are directed to the merchant’s store on Shopee.

1. Go to your YouTube Studio dashboard, click on ‘Earn‘ in the left menu and go to the ‘Shopping‘ tab.
2. Under the box that says ‘Join affiliate program‘, click the button that says ‘Turn on‘.
3. Wait for the pop-up to appear and click continue.
4. Review and accept the terms and conditions, click on ‘Join program‘, and start tagging products in your content!

Creators whose channels are part of the YouTube Partner Program, have more than 10,000 subscribers, and are Philippine residents are eligible. Independent creators and business owners are welcome.
