DESCRIPTION: Seppeltsfield's DP63 Grand Muscat is crafted from the Muscat a petit grains Rouge (known locally as Brown Muscat) varietal. Sourced exclusively from the Rutherglen region in North East Victoria, Brown Muscat is renown for its richness, intensity and complexity of flavour. Like its Tokay counterpart, the Grand Muscat fruit is left on the vine for an extended ripening period. The resultant fruit is high in natural sugar which is then briefly fermented and fortified, to produce an indulgent and seamless wine. Seppeltsfield's DP63 Grand Muscat is a blend of vintage years, all of which have been matured in individual components. A benchmark Rutherglen Muscat style - silken in texture, luscious and complex. A melange of raisined fruit, wood aged character, caramel, fruitcake and spice.
