Spray waxes are formulated as booster waxes to help enhance a preexisting wax or sealant. Prepare the paint if needed. Make sure the paint is clean with no dirt or dust on it. Run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, or paint overspray. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound. Tips & suggestions for use • For best results, make sure the paint is cool to the touch and that you are working in the shade. • The product may be used on warm surfaces that are dry. • Wash your car with a premium automotive shampoo. • Shake the product well. • Mist the spray wax onto one section at a time to a wet or dry surface. If the paint is wet, spread product and dry paint with a microfiber drying towel like Meguiar’s Water Magnet Microfiber Drying Towel. • Wipe the surface dry and then flip your towel to a clean, dry portion for a final buff. • Not for use on flat, matte or satin finishes. • For hot surfaces or in direct sun, complete smaller sections to prevent product evaporation. • Washing in direct sun is not recommended as water spotting can occur.
