Manam Comfort Filipino Crispy Pata Pairs well with rice or beer (the choice is your, really) Serving Size: Good for 3-4 pax Contents: Boiled Pork Knuckle (frozen), House Soy Sauce Instructions: 1. Thaw out the meat in the fridge overnight. 2. In a clean deep pan, pour your choice of cooking oil to around two inches high, or just enough for deep frying. Heat the oil over medium heat until the temperature reaches 200 C, around 25 minutes. The temperature will drop significantly once the pata is put in. Be careful of oil splatter. 3. Fry crispy pata until crispy and golden brown, 12-15min. approx., flipping it every 3 min. or so to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. 4. Remove from the pan and let it rest for 2 min. before serving. 5. Get your biggest cleaver and chop it up. 6. Transfer onto a plate, garnish with fried garlic, and serve with house soy sauce on the side, for family and friends to enjoy.
