The Orthodontic Nipple Shield was designed ideally for babies who have not been exposed to bottles. The Round Nipple Shield is shaped like a bottle teat and is for babies who have been exposed or is transitioning to bottles or is transitioning back to breast from bottle 2. Can I use this if I have flat or inverted nipples? You can but it is best if you consult a lactation consultant first. 3. Will this product cause nipple confusion? Nipple confusion is a probability for any artificial nipples. 4. Is there a size? No. There is only one standard size. Cleaning and Care Wash before and after each use. Although dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing in warm soapy water and rinsing and drying thoroughly. Do not use any bleach-based cleaners or tablets to sterilise or clean your Haakaa products.
