The teaching ministry is so crucial that the last command given by Christ Himself was for His followers to go into all the world and make disciples and teach for obedience. Apostle Paul taught others: “Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to reliable people, who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). We teach the Bible because we need to pass on our ministry, so that all peoples may hear the gospel. Our teaching ministry, therefore, should be: • Bible-saturated – Mere human works are not enough to guide us, our children, youth, and adults to God. They need the Bible. • Gospel-driven – In a capsule, we must be intentional in proclaiming the gospel to children, youth, adults, and their families. • Minister to the whole family – If we desire to fulfill the conversion of the entire household, then we need to purposely minister to the whole family. ---------- Author: Lizette F.
