Make sure it's thoroughly mixed so distributes evenly. If paint is too thick just add a little water and stir. 🖌️ Minimal prep work, no sanding & priming required. Just make sure the area is free of oil, dust and loose debris. 🖌️ Painting Laminate or Slippery Surfaces: You can either do light sanding or apply a primer to help with adhesion. 🖌️ One coat at a time, we advise to wait 24 hours between coats. 🖌️ Dry time: Chalk paint is dry to the touch within minutes. Usually within a half an hour you can touch what you’re painting and not have any chalk paint transfer onto your hands. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean it’s actually dry. It may still be fragile and vulnerable to scratches, dings and scuffs. Dry time would take 1-2 hours. 🖌️ Cure time: Cure time is how long it takes your paint products to reach maximum durability. Curing can take between 5 and 21 days depending on ambient temperature. 🖌️ Sealant: You can apply a thin coat of wax to seal the paint and add protection. For Terracotta Pots, we recommend "Mod Podge Matte Finish Waterbased Sealer" let the paint dry for at least 48 hours before applying the sealer inside and outside the pot. 🖌️ Brush Care: Clean with dish soap and warm water.
